Does anyone no where i can get a lot of Arnold Schwarzenegger sounds. I want to make one huge soundboard that has all sounds neccesary for prank calling. All sounds on other soundboards aswell. I've looked around but I can't find any, please post if you know.

kool - so you are really serious about this then?

We really do need one big arnold soundboard - ideally where all the sounds are rougly the same sort of volume as well.

I expect you may need a sound editing prgram just do fix the occasional sound that is too quiet?

Also you need to consider how you are going to make it possible for people to find the sound that they want.

I wonder if it is possible to extract sounds for other soundboards - I think you can get some software that will record exactly what sound is playing through your computer.

Are you using a mac or a pc?

Also I made my soundboard using Flash 5, with the tutorial, and I was wondering how do you put more than 1 page with Flash 5? For example the Terminator 3 soundboard, has 1 page for Arnold, and the other for the T-X (forgot her name).

well i would say don't use too many pages - two as a maximum.

It might be nice ot have a pause function on the soundboard too as well as press spacebar to stop all sounds.

who is your daddy and what does he do, what are you my father

whats your real name, you know you're lying, tell me the truth you owe me that much at least, you used to be someone I could trust

There are already some really good Arnie soundboards. You should use your time creating one for a celeb that hasn't been used. But if you're sure about this idea then I do have quite a few good quality Arnie sound clips taken from movies, so PM me if you want them.

They all have a least one of the following problems:

layout is not 100% logical and some sounds are hard to find

Isn't "don't fuckin bullshit me" edited? - i prefer the orignal quote

Of the others the headache / tumour routine is the best by far. That rocks. truely essential quotes those two.

All the other quotes are good - though somewhat dificult to gain interation from or to fit into a call.

I really like it when Arnold complains or talks about personal issues - eg headache, "i'm going to take a shower", and "I need a vaction".

Thats prpbably because you dont have Macromedia Flash 7 just go to the Macromedia (http://www.macromedia.com) website and find it there.

Quality is everything. Don't go for sheer quantity of sounds - make usre they are the right volume and easy to understand.

Also I think the numbers thing is a bad idea - much better ot have only a few numbers - all the calls where he goes 7171777117117 etc are hilarious.

I reckon that less is more in this area and he should just have two or possibly three numbers to say.

So let me get this straight,

You're taking sounds from other people's creations, then getting other people to do all the work for you? Sounds like you're in way over your head. But yeah, I guess it sounds like a fun idea/project, even though unoriginal.

Here's a quick thing about making a successful soundboard. You just can't fit every single funny quote on one board. It doesn't work. The more selective you are the better. People have limits in their memory. I don't think it would be wise to slap hundreds of quotes onto one board. It'll be too confusing.

So ah in the end...less is more ;)

Something even more annoying though is one that is very obviously edited. Some of those number edits just aren't worth bothering with.

Yes quantity can be good, but quality is 1000 times more important.

If people are going to post sounds please make sure they sound top quality, especially if they are edits.

yest they can be edited to cut out background noise etc, but that is a totally different type of editing to changing the actual words Arnold says.

Arnold's quotes are easily funny enough without editing - I just can't see the point unless you come up with some sort of amazing edit. His voice is hilarious even when he is just talking normally of espiecially if he is being polite or something.

There' no point in having every word in the dictionary on the soundboard.

Indeed they are not smooth, yet this is supposed to be a high quality soundboard where all such sounds are replaced by higher quality and smoother ones.

I post actually phrases from the man himself on a telephone conversation and not from a movie and somehow you manage to shit on those as well. I don't see you offering anything, just criticism. Also I can't see how all these sound will fit onto the soundboard - and if the guy keep adding more sounds the font size will be tiny and he'll never get the thing finished. He did say he didn't want any more sounds quite a while ago too, so I'm only tryng to help.

I do appreciate that you have put some effort in and that you have done 1000 times more to help the soundbaord than many others here. On top of that i showed the guy who's creating this soundboard where to find all the best existing Arnold soundboards. He obtained literally hundreds of quality sounds as a result of this so i have to say your criticisms are pretty way off the mark - I do criticise a fair bit but i help people a hell of a lot too and I can't see anything wrong with that.
