Yeah I don't get all the GR hate, I thought it was pretty solid. It was certainly "happier" sounding than their other albums, maybe brighter would be a better word. Regardless I think that GOP is one of their best songs.

I think he just meant the sound, idk, I read somewhere that they used lot of major chords/progressions for the album. I think lyrically the album is pretty dark, one of the reasons I love the lyrics for a lot of the songs.
