it got game of the year, its really good i have to say, i used to hate it, but now i just tried it and loved it.

It's pretty good for a single player game, but unless you enjoy collecting things or beating the same game over and over then you won't get much replay value. It's definitely an awesome game and worth playing, but a bit overrated as far as I'm concerned because of said replayability issues.

I thought Bioshock was a great game, although like someone mentioned the replay value isn't that good so once you beat it you probably won't play it again. However it's a very original game and it's quite entertaining so I say go for it.

I've played and beat the game, and I would say its worth the price just to play it once :D

They really overhyped the whole "your decisions throughout the game have drastic effects on the city". In reality, the only effects is you either don't kill a single Little Sister to get the "good ending", you only kill one or two Sisters to get the "neutral ending" or you kill nearly all of them to get the "bad ending". Plus, the neutral and bad ending are exactly the same, the voice-over lady just reads the exact same script with less anger.

Other than the ending, it is a very good game.

Well there are actually three endings. You get a "good" ending (which is absolutely ridiculous in how cheesy it is) if you save all the sisters. A bad ending where she talks with less anger, and a bad ending where she's pissed (the two of which are the same, like you said). All of them were fucking stupid.
