I'm really surprised that there aren't a crapton of threads to this fantastic DS game. Seriously; I don't even really like RPGs, but the appeal of the look and gameplay of Square Enix's new franchise even had me going "holy shit."

If you haven't picked it up, do so NOW. The storyline, set in present day Shibuya, Tokyo, is about a seven-day-long game run by mysterious beings known as Reapers. It's been amazing so far how much it has captured my interest; added with a completely unique and frantic fighting system (good bye turn-based bullshit) and a kick-ass soundtrack and you got a game that should've been discussed to death by now.

I'm wanting to pick this game up too. It looks/sounds fantastic. Plus, I think my fiance would be able to enjoy it as well. Please tell me it has multiple save slots, unlike some of the games that have come out for the DS.

Hey hey now, this guy does NOT speak for the MK phanbois, even though that does seem where the stereotype is going. I for one love the MK franchise and am competent enough to discern good games from shit games.

On topic: My gf has a DS that i bought her, and so far the best game hands down is the Kirby one. I mean, you get to draw Kirby's path! As for this game, If the reviews are good enough, I will check it out :)
