I just downloaded Counterstrike: Condition Zero again, cuz i was starting to get bored at home, and for the record it has worked wellevery time i played it, no major problems and it was working ok on my shitty graphics card. So after i download it, its on the lowest type of resolution in video (640x820 or something like that) so i move it up ONE space to(720x840, something like that) atfer i do that, the game doesnt display AT ALL, not even the original 1.6 game even though i didnt alter that 1. So i completely uninstall Steam, Counter-strike (all of its files and contents), etc. I reinstall and STILL it doesnt show anything, any ideas on how i can fix this problem, and btw, i obviously cant fix it In-Game.

(P.S.-the sound works the game just doesnt show anything but a black screen)

i dont have enough spare money to buy a new graphics card because I have yet to find a job due to the fact that im 15 and a half, and people wont really hire me. Believe me, i have searched for jobs because i just want to buy a Totally New computer thats up-to-date and can play games that are being released right now, but i have yet to get a job after 6 Job applications.

Is there a safe mode for the game? If so, just run it and change the resolution back.

Try right clicking on the icon, properties, and add this to the end of the "target field", outside of the quotation marks for the stuff there.

try what hes saying, START>All Programs>Steam>CS .. right click icon>open Properties>Compatibility Tab>Run in 640 X 480 screen resolution
