i'd put it in london, return to the early city and make it fucking amazing. paris would be cool too, but i dont think people know enough about the landscape besides the obvious landmarks.

Hmm... it would be cool if they went to the past again like they did with the GTA3 trilogy but we're talking about GTAV... not GTAIV:XX sooo....

I would like to see it in maybe somewhere like SA or VC but with a Asian main character. It could also be somewhere totally different like another state sized map based on the Texas area or something.

Japan might be cool but for some reason... I don't like the idea.

I wish they'd stop making GTA games set in the past. They need to make one set in the future, but not too far into the future. At least far enough to have TVs in cars and have flying cars that are like helicopters but smaller and easier to control.

It should also be set in a GTA version of Washington DC, the murder capital of the US, called Capital City. The main character should be a hitman from somewhere in the UK that doesn't talk much, and is a master of silent kills. That way he can kill a man without instantly becoming Americas most fuckin' wanted.

GTA: Sudan 1942. You're a prosperous white man from England that has decided to go on a hunt in Africa. A hunt for Negroes. But, the Nazis interfere along the way as the game culminates with your attempt to secure a Sudanese princess from the evil grip of a Hitler clone.

Along the way, you'll hunt and kill the targets with elephant guns, drive Land Rovers, hunt warthogs, destroy Nazi camps with stolen tanks, avoid being infected with the Ebola virus, and a whole slew of other innovative features.

I think alaska would be the best place, or some remote area in the arctic. We've already been to all the mock cities they've created, something new would be nice. Blizzards, snowplows, dogsleds, snowmobiles, iceskating, snowshoeing with a flamethrower, I dunno, so many different possibilities can be covered in a winter setting, where GTA has not gone.
Most likely though it will be GTAIV:san andreas edition ( pretty much GTAIV with all they shit they could have added in, but instead dumbed down the content for future releases )

I think Baltimore/DC would be perfect. You start off in the streets in Baltimore (think The Wire) and move on up to dirty politics in DC.

That area has plenty of crime to be had and is full of well known landmarks.

i dont think they should take it out of the country, the whole series is basically all about the american dream, and you cant have that in a different country

Rome. I'd say Sicily so they can add in a Mafia related storyline like 3 and VC, but Sicily is pretty much of a dump to want to base a game off of. Rome can keep the same concept, but you'd have a shitload of historical monuments.

Well that's GTA IV: San Andreas, not GTA V. GTA V should have some English or Australian guy as the main character (set in Sudan).

Someone said that it will probly be place in SA again. It'll probly be placed in Vice City, or some other tropical area, because GTA IV was in "Liberty City." They're probly going in order again, Like they usually do.

If I had a choice where it was, I'd have no fucking clue, theres a lot of good places to pick from. Florida or tropical area (like Vice City) probably. As long as they don't make anotherone like San Andreas, where they purposly made your character (CJ) a foot shorter than everyone else in the game, and made him one of the dumbest characters in the game (and also the shitty storyline to go with it).

the GTA world idea was pretty cool, but they would have to make a long-ass storyline and a lot of land.

Also, one of the ideas that Rockstar should've added was a character selection or creation. Would've made it a bit better.
