I think it will come (eventually) blizz said they are making a 'next-gen' mmo... and its not warcraft, so i dunno wutother lore they have to pick from unless they are starting out from scratch... i'm pretty sure THE MMO REPORT said something about it too..

Read lots of posts, for christ sake Blizzard bought the domain for Diablo3.com, hinting at something big, WWI is on June 29th which was when Diablo 2 was released. If that fails there's also Blizz con with 3 convention halls, it never has 3 convention halls, so much suspicion.

Blizzard is going to announce Diablo 3 soon.

This year has had the biggest Diablo 3 news in 6 years.

because i had doubts because i saw 1 screenie of another mmo blizz was making a while back and i thought they were making a whole new franchise, but yeah i went to that site a while ago, and when blizz bought the domain name... yeah ... man i would like a release date and some gameplay info... i hope to god they do wsad and new interface with the game...

but it sorta will be, they are releasing the lich king in november? and they wouldn't want to release diablo in the same year, it would hurt the sales of the expansion... so facing the facts i say it will most likely be in 2010 at the latest.

edit- btw, for kicks, I was going to get diablo 2 and the expansion, just to mess around when I have downtime(played it years ago, but gave it away to my little cousin). The battle chest is 40 fucking dollars. Gotta be shitting me. I'd like to play some D2 again but $40? Titty fucking.... I remember my friend said like 2years back when he started playing again, he got Diablo 2 and the expansion for like 10 bucks each, said they just game in a jewel case. But now I got to pay 20 extra because it comes in a box and with the regular Diablo? they are trying to fist someones anus...
