I rented R&C for PS3 a few days ago and I got pretty far in the game.

I just finished the Arena part of the game and I need to get back in the ship to go to the next area. Everytime I get in the ship the game freezes.. WTF!?!?! I have not had any problems with any other games before.

I never had that problem, nor was it listed on the PS3 forums. Might it be a scratch on the rented disk?

keep your PS3 to cool down it happen to me before but just turn off the console for like 20 min and it should be fix and you should finish you mission

OP: The disk is obviously scratched or dirty, my R&C runs perfectly.

I remember renting 3+ copies of GTAIII before and they all froze because they were scratched, just something that happens with used games.
