I put on Yes's Relayer album while doing some home related paperwork. And I just can't get over how awsome Steve Howe is during the song "To be over".

I started playing guitar 22 years ago and am pretty good at it, and did ok with some songs by Yes. But the guitar in this song still blows me away even after 30 years when it came out.

It starts out slow and melodic with a simple volume pedal and a slide, then fuses within the main body of the song. Then after the first verse he gets down, no slide and all notes picked without finger-fretting. It's all picking man, like a maniac. It boggles me, How does he do it? Does he break any picks? He was onces awarded best acoustic guitarist after he recorded "The clap" but his electric guitar and picking style still blows me away.
