how to make a screenshot

how do i take a screenshot? :confused:
i know many people have probably asked this, but i just cant figure out how, i did a forum search, so, if anyone could please help me, it would be greatly appreciated

u didnt let me finish, download Gadwin PrintScreen. you can probably find it at download.com. then open that, then hit the button, then click "continue output", then it says capture completed. open a photo program (i.e. paint) and click paste. u got a capture. rep me.

yes, just press prtscrn and then go into paint and press ctrl and then v.

hit ctrl+print screen, then load up paint and hit ctrl+v. save as a jpeg.

host it on a free image hosting web site (plenty about, just search in google and sign up to one
...*cough*imageshack*cough*....*cough*photobucket* cough*

coz you'll need something like photoshop to reduce the image quality and get it down to size to upload to ebaums (unless there are free progs that do this??)

If you want to take a picture of your full desktop then the above is how to, but if you all want to do is submit high scores from games or just take a picture of an active window then I will save you the time of resizing the image! Just press ALT PRTSCN then goto paint and CTRL V and there ya have it no resizing needed!
