Hey guys, i just got guitar hero 3 for ps2 for $29! i thought i would share the wealth (after i got my copy lol)

So has anyone heard any word on some of the stuff for the new guitar hero?

I bought my brother GHIII for christmas. It was $40. But i got my friend to take off $10 as a discount.

But this one you posted says its a demo/display...thats why its so cheap.

WTF, I'd never buy a demo GH guitar. Just imagine how badly abused it's been and all the grubby snotty oily fingers on it.

BTW the new guitar in Guitar Hero World Tour looks awesome. There are supposed to be new touch pads on the neck that you slide your fingers on.

only thing i've heard of world tour is that it's like rock band except the drums are different. you'll be able to customize the songs already featured on the game, just the music, not the lyrics. bands featured will be linkin park, van halen, the eagles, the police, red hot chilli peppers, muse, ozzy, jimi hendrix, the doors, dream theater, the smashing pumpkins, korn, system of a down, blink 182 and lenny kravitz. what songs have not been revealed. sublime's "santeria" is featured, foo fighter's "everlong" as well. the answer's song "rise". at the drive in's "one armed scissor". as well as aerosmith's "i don't want to miss a thing". no wonder it wasn't in GH: Aerosmith.

in an interview with def leppard they said they have 3 songs in the game. "photograph", "rock of ages" and "animal". three songs? in an earlier interview with one of the creators of the game when he mentioned bands like linkin park and van halen he seemed to be suggesting that these bands had more than one song in the game as well. it's also been mentioned that this game will have more songs than any other GH game before it, even more than rock band had. early reports are saying that the first half of the playlist features songs that no one will really care about. it's the 2nd half where all the good songs will be found. isn't this like in every GH game?

i wish it was october already.
