Which one should I start with?

So I ordered Pokemon Sapphire (Say what you will, but the Gameboy games are fun and addicting as fuck. Plus, it's the best one that I was interested in for 200 points) from that Goozex site, and I was wondering what Pokemon to use as my starter.cue teh mudkipz jokez

Augmon, just make sure to digivolve him into Greymon ASAP.

I love Torchic, personally. All three are good, but Blaziken's (3rd stage) unique mix of fire and fighting types and good, powerful attacks make it a good choice. Mudkip IMO is pretty lame, 4x weakness to grass, one of the most common types in the game. Treecko ends up with a very diverse special movepool though, which I love about it.

Yeah, I've played a lot of Pokemon from all 4 generations.

Get the pikachus. I hear about that damned pikachus all the time. It's the best pokeman.

anyways you want to start with the fire one, that bird thingy i believe i ono i dont keep current, but there are many many double evolves for water and plant, so fire is the way to go.
