Well, the runes/symbols in the ice are a rune from Diablo 2, a symbol from Warcraft, a Protoss symbol, and some unknown symbol. So not much help there.

I don't want to create false hope for myself, but the Diablo 3 website was bought out recently.. And Diablo II was released on june 29th (8 years ago, 3 days from now). I want it to be Diablo III so bad... Then again, why would they put those starcraft/warcraft runes in there if it's just Diablo III.

But who knows, this might just be the announcement for the release date of that WoW expansion pack.

Any idea when the final 'splash' will be?

Not when the final splash will be, I am guessing saturday though, for the release. The new one will be released tonight at midnight as usual, just go to the blizzard website.

Also, the Diablo3 website would direct you to DiabloFans.com, which used to be diablo3.com before it was bought out. Starting 3 days ago the domain now takes you to an empty page, instead of redirecting. Coincidence? I THINK NOT!

No doubt, runes that are lit form a pentagram, there is a little ;) rune now, and there is definantly evidence that there is a horn, pic is below

Blizzard is horribly fucking with us. First you could have sworn it's the Bitch King because of the eyes color being that specific blue and now they changed it to something yellowish. Not to mention they put a fucking smiley in it and named the picture 5andahalf.

Well the people on the official WoW forums got owned. If you read some of the things they said during all the splash updates over the week. Some of them were so sure they were right.They would put others down when they said it was Diablo3. "I will be bumping this thread when its not Diablo3 out of spite" kinda like that. Yea to me they got owned.

It's 3d now, it's just isometric. There's a huge difference.
