I listen to anything thats considered classic rock, its almost all good. a bit of new rock, and lots of old metal, but new metal turns my stomach, as does 99% of rap (excluding dr. dre and eminem, two extremely talented people that choose the wrong things to sing about). country just...sucks, its all the same song. emo is pathetic, ska is just hard to listen to, and punk...tries too hard.

Bond is the best band on the planet. Their multi-genre and I guess you can call them "new-age classical". Check them out. (All 4 girls are hot so that should give you some incentive.)

I know there's more bands I like, but those are the first ones that popped in my head.

One genre that really bugs me is this whole "Emo" thing. Most of the music is somewhat decent, but every song sounds strikingly similar to the last... and they whine alot. Thrice could be considered "Emo", I guess, but it's a heck of a lot better than any other "Emo" I've heard.
