Anyone Remember the Jedi Knight series??

Some of the greatest games of all time in my opinion. I spent countless hours dueling with lightsabers and forcepowers, I miss it sooo much...
They had numerous mods, tons of clans, and too many community/fun maps to count.
I was wondering if anyone had info on a new jedi knight game?
it sort of went to shit when they came out with JK3:Academy, the saber combat was owned, and it was very gimmicky.
I miss kyle kataran!

Oh ya, fuck the force unleashed. PC will reign JK supreme.

I do recall... I used to play religiously on the Zone back when you could actually play games on it. It definitely peaked with Outcast, I never got into JKA.

I still see outcast as the best starwars game to date.

Outcast owned my life that game was the shit only thing that killed it for me was the admin mods too much admin abuse and JKA didn't get into it.

Im sure Lucasarts will hear the fans and make a new Jedi Knight game, as well as a new KOTOR game.

just be glad that they are a good quality company that has the money to make these things, and that their games aren't hit and miss. 99% of the time they rock! :D

I agree, JK series is way better than anything else they've put out, except maybe KOTOR.... NAH! Better. If they put the RPG element of KOTOR and the overall system of JK together it'd be so fucking amazing. I didn't play the first, the second I thought was alright, Jedi Academy was actually my favorite. I thought it was fucking amazing and so much fun. Let's hope it comes to consoles though as well.

I just beat Jedi Academy a few months ago.

So far it's my favorite star wars game. It was really fun.

I liked the non-jedi shit in these games, the guns were all unique and innovative, also i had hours of fun setting up elaborate traps with tripmines.

Oh my god tripmines, I made like a fuckin spiderweb of those things, i wish I could find my picture of it. I filled up all of the dueling bay of ffa_bespin with em.:banghead:
In outcast I could have so much fun even when im not playing the game, just walking around, talking to ur friends, it was just so good.

I wish I could find JA for xbox. I know the pc version had some sweet mods and what not but I'd get it for the single player. I'll always remember the intense ass saber fights you had. Especially the one ontop of a pyramid before heading into the tomb of Ragnos. I fought a guy around for a few seconds, laid a fatal blow, and used force push sending him flying off the pyramind into an abyss. God it was so fucking epic!!!

If it wasn't for the light saber fights in the game, it wouldn't be my favorite. It was also pretty cool how you could make your own. Shit I might go download the torrent again.

I wish I could play Outcast again but I got rid of Xbox and it doesn't work with the 360. I never got to beat it. ;_;

a local lan had number 2 playing it was pretty awesome and i remember playing it for hours on xbox years ago
