No I don't know how much it is going to cost. In fact I'm hoping to dear sweet 8lb 9oz baby Jesus that it is free monthly, although I doubt it. You would think after Blizzard makes $135 million per month they would give us a break on D3. It is in fact my deciding factor, I will not buy it if it costs monthly. How about you guys?

Since when does B.net make you pay? This isn't World of Diablo.

There's a good chance they'll put a monthly fee to deal with the piracy that goes on in China.

They aren't going to, and I don't even know how you can think that if you understand battle.net.

Well how about you guys don't assume everyone understands and knows how b.net works. I don't so get off my ass about it. I just read the FAQ's and it said that the cost would be released at a later date.

I would assume (seeing as this apply's to 99% of games around) it will be approximately $50.00

Ya, even though their releasing it with the new battle.net service there shouldn't be a monthly fee since SC2 will use it too.

Why do dumbasses bring the monthly payment shit into it ? must have never fucking played any previous diablo and used battle net, diablo isnt an MMORPG, you dont play with thousands upon thousands of people at once in a game, learn your fuckin shit before you mess with hardcore diablo fans, because we'll burn your little sisters toes off with a blow torch when you're wrong.
I feel better now.

Didn't they already say whats going to happen, Im sure I read it somewhere. There will not be a monthly fee in the US and Canada, In spots like China and Korea there will be a recurring charge to compensate for the many internet cafe fee's or something along those lines.
All in fairness though, this could all change and there be a monthly charge. To be honest I really dont care as long as its reasonable

Seeing as they say D3 would 'support' Battle.net, I think they might add an optional subscription fee. Like Hellgate:London, where you get access to more (but not more powerful) weapons, items, and areas. Perhaps a bigger stash size too.
Do you think that could happen? I'd be fine with that.
