Definitely Frances for me, because it has Cassandra Gemini on it. Least favorite is Amputechture. What about you guys?

Is it wrong that I have never listened to them? I know of them, people tell me they're good, I just have never been motivated enough to listen.

Not at all. This is more directed towards people who do, but I'd give them a try.

I kind of prefer Deloused the most, I really have no idea why. And I do agree that Amputechture is my least favorite

This is a toughie for me. It goes Deloused first, followed very very closely by Amputechture, then Bedlam, then Frances

All of them are very good though, I just think that Deloused and Amputechture are much better than the other two.

Deloused definitely.
It has the perfect balance and while they experimented a lot just like their other albums, they didn't cross the line. Just seems a lot less chaotic than bedlam.
Frances comes in second.

They got way too self-indulgent after De-loused and I never listen to their subsequent albums. Anyone hear all that bollocks they said about the inspiration for their latest album coming from a ghost they were in contact with via a ouija board? That put me right off them. De-loused is an incredible album though.

Okay so this is a stupid question but I got Frances The Mute and on wikipedia, the total length for Cassandra Gemini is like 33 minutes but when I add up the totals for the 5 parts that I got, its not even 20 minutes. Do i have a messed up version?

It's because it has 8 parts, not 5. The track names are all screwed up. The first 3 parts of Cassandra Gemini are creditted as parts of Miranda.

Anyway, I think I am going to have to say The Bedlam in Goliath, immediately followed by Deloused and Frances. Amputechture is still great, but not nearly as great as their other albums. Still, Day of the Baphomets is one of their greatest songs hands down.

Yeah Cassandra Gemini is 33 minutes, but you have to include parts B, C, and D of Miranda. It was an issue with the record company, they had to space out tracks or else it would be counted as an EP.

Oh alright. I was hoping I didn't get some retarded version of the album. So basically Cassandra Gemini starts at Miranda part B. Gotcha.

My tastes have changed as the albums have come out. When I first got deloused I was into for the electronic sound it had. Then I got frances and was a little dissapointed, but it grew on me and now i like it more than deloused, but I wasn't to keen on the latin influence in their stuff. Next was amputecture and bedlam and like frances they grew on me. It's hard for me to say what my favorite is. The first half of both amputecture and bedlam are awesome and now i enjoy all the latin stuff they do esecially L'via off frances.
