Flash Clip

Hey, is there a way to take like a little clip out of a flash file by doing something, like how you take a screenshot of something by pressing Print Screen button? Cuz I wanna make a icon out of it.

press print screen.my mouse cursor disappears then reappears so i know it worked but idk about urs.the open up paint or any image program.if its an image program select new project and it should be the size of ur screen atomatically the right click on the and select paste.if u want me to do it send it to me and i will.

No, like it there another way to do that but take a sequence of a flash file?

no..hes talking about taking maybe a 5 second clip from a flash then resizing it and saving it as a GIF..the problem is that I dont know how to do any of that

the only idea i have is working with flash mx.. thats the main program people use to create flash. If you were to download this program (legally of course *cough*kazaalite), you could in theory load the flash file into and pick it apart form there

yea just open the swf file, cut out the frames you dont want, and export it as a gif
