AVP Sucked

I just saw AVP and it fuckin blew. It was just a goddam buddy flick. Its just another Freddy vs Jason, where the actual fighting is 10 mins, and the movie focuses on people you don't give a fuck about.

I thought it was a good movie in genreral. i dont think it coulda been alot better but it sure as hell can be a ton worse. It was sure as hell better than aliens 3. and predator 2. Lucky dan glover didnt make a cameo and ruin the whole fucking movie.

the one thing i didnt like about the movie was all the early deaths and i didnt care about the people who did die..but i think it wasnt a bad movie. it has no relation to the story line of the alien series. it just some random shit that happened. if you dont compare it to the franchises of predator and alien..its a decent movie to watch. NO WAY IT IS ANYTHING AS BAD AS FREDDY VRS JASON. anyone els see or like the movie, support never hurts???

the fights are ok..but you get to see the predators do some cool shit to the aliens.

That movie was great. IT was not at all like Freddy vs Jason. Freddy vs Jason sucked because they couldn't die and they just kept coming back. In this one, many things died. It was a great movie. And there was more than 10 minutes of fighting. Didn't you notice that the action started like 15 minutes into the movie? And it went on for the rest of the movie? That was a good movie. Like seriously how could you say its bad?

It didn't show much suspense in the movie, I thought if had that, it would help the movie a lot better. Things seemed so predictable. I remember Arnold having a hard time killing the Predator, and this movie just made his efforts all a joke. To be honest I haven't seen all of the Alien franchise, seen Aliens and Alien Resurrection (or was it Alien 3? Can't remember... :confused: )

Well i was waiting for this movie to come out since 96. I read the 4 book AVP series back in the day. The books were great and i would reccomend them to anyone who likes reading. I personally liked the movie. It wasnt the best thing i've ever seen but it was still enjoyable to watch.

The movie tried its best to keep true to the books, though a few of the main differences which bothered me are these. This was supposed to take place on another planet. The main female character was japanese. And most importantly at the end she leaves with the Predators to hunt with them. Though they hinted at a sequal at the end of this flick it will never happen. Mainly because she did not go with them into space and become a hunter. The first book ends just like the first with the exception of the female leaving with them, and the predalien doesnt happen till book 2 i beleive. Anyway anyone who is intersted at all in this story pick up the 4 books they are short and you can easily read 1 in a night or 2.

I saw AVP today, and i thought it was good. It held true to the story lines of both storylines. I was well thought out and executed, considering that the Aliens and Predators exist in different times, or so we thought. If you dont see it, rent it. i give it a 8.5/10.

I just got back from seeing it and I thought it kicked ass.

Of course some of you guys are going to bash it because most of you are Internet nerds who look too deep into things. The only movies you like is over-rated shit such as LOTR, The Matrix, Harry Potter, X-Men, the new Star War movies, Spider-Man and other crappy flicks such as that.

And some of you hate "vs" movies just because it is something that has not been done in a long-ass time, so therefore it is a new idea, and computer geeks are like old people. They hate change.

BTW: Freddy vs. Jason ruled too. The only bad thing about that movie was that there was no winner. But that's okay, because it just means a sequel will happen.

Anyway, AVP also ruled. The fight scenes were awesome and I liked how there was a good guy and bad guy and that there was a winner in the end, and I hope to see a part 2.

I plan on seeing this movie tomorrow and when I heard it was rated pg-13 I lost alot of hope for this movie considering all other Predator and Alien movies were R, reading everyones posts im still not sure what to expect but I hope it isnt that bad.

I didn't really like the movie. The main action sequences were separated by meaningless dialoge; which, thankfully, ended after everyone died. Both extra terestrial species seemed to be worse than they were in their own respective movies. The Aliens seemed dumber and the Predators seemed weaker. If I had to rate it, I'd give it a 4/10.

The fighting sequences were pretty cool. And it was slightly scary as in how everyone died sometimes. But the storyline was really random..it jus kept adding on stupid things and then befriending the Predator was like..um ok. I guess i was entertained for an hour or so. Does anyone know why the Predator stops and doesnt kill the old guy right away? He like looks into his body and saw something, then stopped..I didn't get that part.

I think he saw he had a shitty heart and didn't need to waste his time on the old guy.

I liked the movie. Wasn't great, but was more then I expected. 3.5/5 stars.

alright I just saw AvP and my friend told me to really understand the movie you have to read the books (he aslo said they were better).

I didnt like how the predators got owned, even though it is some passage into predatorhood or something so they have next to no weapons. I'm a huge fan of the predator and Alien movies so I guess thats why I dont completely hate this movie I just thought the action would be more insane.
