Let me get this straight: you want to pay someone to play the video game for you? Doesn't that take all the fun and purpose out of the whole idea of gaming? :err:

Don't buy gold and don't pay people do get loot and rep for you.
It will only ruin your gaming later.

I talked to a guy a while ago when I was interested about it that sounded legit.
His aim is Pikitruka, if you wanna talk to em. Something like 200-250 bucks for a level 70.

It's boring as hell, but you'll burn through those levels.
Also, don't bother with buying gold. By the time you reach outlands, you'll be getting 50-100 a day. By 70, a few hundred a day is easy.

I've thought about this a few times. Didn't bother doing it since I know I'd regret it at some point later. I prefer the feeling knowing I did everything myself.

I wouldn't do it but it helps a lot. I took a great risk and i almost got my account deleted but what they do now is mail you items that are worth a lot on the server you play on so there wont be any heat on you when the people working there see a shit load of gold in your mail box. Just become a skinner and a minner or something and when you are in your 60s go farm in Zag for motes of life.

Go to curse.com and download questhelper (and cartogropher) and you will level really fast. I quit a while ago because I was bored with leveling, but after getting questhelper, it was so fucking easy.
Good luck and have fun leveling
Mr.SelfDestruct

Quest helper is pretty great. Just keep some clear inventory space, go do all of the quests in your zone, and turn them back in.
Also, be sure to get some netherweave bags (16-slot bags). They might seem pricey at 6-8 gold each, but those extra slots will get you your money back pretty quick.
If you just want money, I'd drop skinning for herbalism. It's more difficult, but later herbs can easily net you a gold or two each (ghost mushrooms sell for quite a bit, and you find them pretty easily later on).

Yeah the only reason to play the online one is to be a hardcore fan of lotro other then that the game might not appeal to you. Hunter is awesome so far, from what i heard Hunter is gonna be awesome for the lich King but my over all view point on hunter is that its the best! i love having a pet and i can't really play any other class anymore expect healer now.

Hunter = easy mode
I play as a Pally right now. Loving it. From what I hear, it's the easiest class for the hardest job in the game. Tanking.
LuckyCharms
08-01-2008, 06:22 PM
Bah, i hate pallys :( i miss the warriors they never run out of mana because they have RAGE
warriors ftw
PokemonMaster
08-01-2008, 06:41 PM
Tanking isn't very hard. Neither is DPSing. The entire game isn't that hard.
Tanking has an exact combo of moves you do, nearly every time. Same with DPS. Healing is harder, but still easy, because you actually have to watch, rather than push the same buttons you always do.
Mr.SelfDestruct
08-01-2008, 08:25 PM
Paladins just have a blue rage bar.
Warrior tanks get rage by taking damage. Druid tanks get rage by taking damage. Paladin tanks get mana by taking damage.
What's the difference?
As for which role is hardest, opinions opinions. I haven't healed yet, but DPS is definitely easier than tanking. Gearing out is simple, and all you have to do is burn down the enemy the tank is targeting. With healing, gearing out might be a bit tougher than DPS, but it's generally the same theory.
Gearing out for tanks can be a pain though. There are many more factors to consider for a tank than with both healers and DPS. You have to consider avoidance, armor, stamina, and threat generation. They also get hit with the highest repair bills, and more is expected of them than the other roles. Some people actually blame the tank when they lose threat. Seriously, it's not hard to pull threat from a tank at all, and it's the job of the DPS to make sure they don't do exactly that. But if the mob wanders away from the tank to go one-shot a squishy, the tank gets yelled at because the mage decided to get into a pissing contest with the warlock.
Also, tanking, rotation of moves... Yeah, pretty much. Sometimes you toss in a taunt, or a stun. DPS generally slaps the two key continuously, as with healers. Of course, I see repetition in every game.

Yeah most of those Chinese fuckers use their own private hacks for their company and lots of the time results in your account getting banned. I think they hack in instances or something, but i might be thinking of those guys who rent ur acct for like $5 a day or whatever, they use hacks.

don't do beast way go to the marksmen ship, you'll do way more dmg and untrain your pet to have uber armor.
Mr.SelfDestruct
08-02-2008, 01:23 AM
Naw, go beast specced. It's the easiest way to go. You'll kill things faster with marks, but you'll see much less downtime beast specced, and you'll be much safer overall.
With marks, you've got a bit more DPS with your pet.
With beast, you've got a decent amount of DPS with your pet, and you've also got a nice tank with your pet.
Also, bears make great tanking pets, and they eat just about anything. Nab one for the leveling process, you'll love me for it.

The most fun part about WoW is getting to level 70... after that it becomes a job and consumes every minute of your free time.
Just get to 70 yourself. Once you get there you'll probably stop playing anyway... just like i did.

I'll tell you buying gold or power leveling isn't safe.
About 1 month before BC release me and my guild decided to start anew a server. This was a hardcore raiding guild. I was consider "part-time" were I would raid 3 days out of the week, while full times were 5-6. Anyways too many people rolled warlocks. So one of the warlocks, Dexia, decided she didn't want to play warlock. She made this decision at level 65 and for her to level her character in time before we started raiding would be difficult. So she decided to make a separate account and wanted to roll a tank via power leveler. 2 weeks and 400 bucks later, her tank was 70. Fast forward a year (so last January), she trys to log on and it just wont accept the password. Come to find out the power leveler hijacked the account and transferred the character and sold it. Blizzard told her that the account was banned forever with no reimbursement, due to the violation of the rules.
Her character had full t5, full resistance sets, around 12k in gold, maxed out smithing with tons of rare recipes, and a bunch of bank alts full of stuff. She even had part of the guild bank, due to a overflow of the original one. What sucked worse was she was our main tank. That is the hardest class to gear for raiding. She went back to her warlock and got a bunch of welfare epics to make enough impact on raiding and stills plays it to this day.

Have a 70 shaman on Thaurisan, or however you spell it. Spent all week / weekend doing AV for bonus honor, finally coming together with some Season 2 wep and gear, and by Tuesday I'll have a S4 piece. My arena 3v3 team is decent. Warrior, Shaman(me), and a Ret pally. Windfury messes people up with the amount of Attk power we have. Anyone else play on this server? (Or Darrowmere, I might be transfering there)
As for hitting 70 then quitting? Why? End game instances, arena and mass pvp is what I LIVE for. Mostly PvP, but the occasional instance is nice.

ehh, imo, not really. more for 5v5 unless they are really geared, also depends on who your team mates are. Certain combos work well together and make a huge difference
