Definitly a MD player. I have one and a player in my truck. One disk can hold 6-8 hours, not sure which. And also the battery life is awesome on a MD player. I've used the same AA battery for a couple of weeks before. You can get the plain MD player for like 75 bucks. And should come with some disks. And to buy more is only like 10 bucks for 5 of them at Wal-Mart.

MD PLAYER!
i have one and its awesome
just make sure whe u record that you record in LP4 format because taht way it can hold up to about 80 songs depending on their size
if you record in LP2 format then it can only hold 20 because the sound is better but really it doesn't make a difference
also you can get different disks so you don't have a limited ammount of music
i definatley would recomend the MD

I wish i could get an Ipod, too expensive though...
so i think ill go with the Sony MD player...
so you say the songs are clearer in the LP2,
but the LP4 are still clear enough for you to not
notice a diff. between LP2 & LP4 right?

I can't tell a difference between the two. But maybe if you could play them back to back you could maybe tell a diff. All of mine are LP4. That way you only need a few for a LOT of songs.
