I'm trying to save up a bunch of cash for a good PC gaming desktop (I currently game on a 360), and I came across this:

http://www.xcmlive.com/cgi-bin/xcmlive/engine.pl?function=viewid&id=RKS000142

http://www.consolesource.com/ecomm/catalog/Xbox-360-XFPS-360-V3-Sniper-Plus-p-2777.html

It's basically an adaptor that allows you to use a kb/m setup for your 360.

After reading articles and watching some video demos of it, it seems like it would work pretty well.

Just wondering if anyone here has ever tried one out at all. If so, how well does it work?

i got one about 2 week ago and let me tell you guys, this thing fucking BLOWS!!!

iv seen people using it on youtube and it looks like it works but it doesn't. i think those people are using XIM or something. i have to spend about 10 minutes trying to configure the XFPS everytime you load a game because they are all so different and some games will barley work with it at all. you have to turn the thumb stick sensitivity up full its just a pain in the ass. its also really hard to use it unless you,re sat at a desk which kind of defeats the whole purpose of having an Xbox for me.

its really not accurate at all. small mouse movements don't even register with the unit so sniping or any kind of precise aiming is out of the question.

but yeah, after playing around with this thing for a few hours i just unplugged it and decided it was much easier playing with the pad.

oh and one more thing, you have to have a non MS branded wired controller to make it work. which they don't tell you. i spent £60 on the XFPS, £30 on a wired MS controller (which didn't work) and the £25 on a joytech controller only to realize that i don't like it anyway.

you guys should come on here and tell me what you think of it when you get one so i know im not just using it wrong.

This thing is pretty bad, I bought it to try and play halo. Its decent with shotguns and weapons like that, but its impossible to aim.

Such a waste of money.

Yeah, anyone can use it. I haven't been in it lately, but its not getting as much activity as I thought. I'll probably keep it up for a while longer, but its not really worth having it.

Shane, after you said you had your 'little' wisdom teeth out ( like you get 2 sets of wisdom teeth, lawl ) when you were 7 or 8, it made me decide for definate that pretty much everything you say is bollocks.
