Wow, I just stumbled across this game being made, and damn, it looks like it has some promise! Has anybody heard much about this game, I didn't even know it existed until I bumbled into it on wikipedia.

The gameplay consists of elements borrowed from both of those genres and is described as an action/RPG/RTS hybrid partly inspired by the Warcraft III map Defense of the Ancients

I fucking hate DotA. Too fucking repetitive. You choose the same fucking hero, get the same fucking items, to kill the same fucking units, towers, and buildings.

this game is using the supreme commander engine so it dos have great promise.

I guess its possible considering what happened with counter strike and what not, but the more open ended maps on warcraft 3 aren't quite in the same league as an entire mod. This game goes way beyond the warcraft 3 engine as well, I am excited to see how it turns out. The screenshots look sick.

Yeah, but at this point I am used to long wait periods. *cough* SPORE *cough.* It looks like it will be worth it though, they need more games that break/blend the usual game genres.
