Alien vs. Predator and Freddy Vs. Jason similarities [spoilers]

Well, let's see....

The Predators were the "good guys" of the movie and the humans sided with them.

I don't know if I'd call Jason Voorhees a "good guy" since he killed all the teens. But he was the lesser of two evil's and was used to kill Freddy by the kids and had help from them.

Everyone thought the Predators were a bunch of pussies and got their asses kicked by the Aliens just like everyone said Jason was a wuss since he got his ass kicked by Freddy for most of the movie.

Both the Alien and Freddy were killed by hot girls at the end instead of their enemy killing them.

The Predator and Jason both won in the end, but since the Alien popped out of the Predator's chest, people say the Aliens won.

And even though Jason was carrying Freddy's head in the end, the wink from Freddy convinced some people Freddy won.

Both hinted there would be sequels too.

And yes I did see the movie, but guess what? The girl still killed the Queen Alien at the end. The Predator was already half-dead.

And towards the end of Freddy Vs. Jason, Jason was the one who weakened Freddy. By putting his whole fist into Freddy's hest, then ripping his arm off. Then taking Freddy's own claw hand and shoving it in Freddy's chest.

But the girl Lori got the last hit in, so she killed Freddy because Jason already hit the water but Freddy was still alive until Lori chopped his head off.

It's the exact same deal with AVP.

It's kinda funny. LOL............here I am debating over a movie with a child like you like I am a 10-year old fanboy.....

Well, you must realize the alien queen was only there to provide unlimited aliens for the predator ritual bloodsport. So basically the predators always had a way of wiping out all the aliens of things got out of hand. So duh, the predators in a way won. But i don't see how that facehugger got onto that predators face. Maybe it crawled into the ship and planted it into him while hwas dead. I don't know.
Honestly i didn't like the story line of the aliens being there for merely sport.
It revealed the predator's purpose and hence the predators didn't seem as menacing anymore when you realize they were the ones who belonged there.

Also, It didn't seem like there was much character development.
ALso, the characters weren't able to put up any kind of effective fight against
any of the creatures. So most of them died way too fast i think. I think they could have made it alot more scary and drug their deaths out alot longer. Like one by one , as in the first alien film.

There will be no sequel for AvP. If you read any of the books which the movie was based on you would know that at the end of the first book she leaves the planet(not earth) and joins the predators to hunt with them on many escapades. Then later Goes against them a few year down the road. Anyway in the movie she did not go with theminto the ship and hunt with them in the galaxy. So basically he just left the ending like that to give us something to talk about what if at the water cooler.

But later in the movie you see the predator putting his mask back on. everybody totally forgot about the facehugger, until the very end.

I didn't! :D Seriously, I remembered taht and even told my friend sitting next to me that at the end something about that is gonna affect the ending. And I was right! Woo! I kinda ruin a movie I'm watching sometimes if I try to predict what's gonna happen. Ah well..
