His initials will be COC, let's hope he marries a woman with the last name... K something, and they decide to combine them to sound posh.

I've lost the little respect I had for Chad Johnson when I read this article on Yahoo.

First, he runs his mouth constantly, demanding to be traded (understandable) since his team sucks. But he wouldn't back his words up and when they told him to sit his ass out, he came crawling back. And now he's changing his last name to what is literally translated as Chad "Eight Five?"

He's almost as bad as Terrelle Owens. I mean atleast Randy Moss was able to get his act together. Keep in mind these are grown men acting like children because they were fed millions of dollars since they could play sports. Chad John...erm, Ocho Cinco's GPA in high school was probly 2.6.

Thats actually not bad for student athletes even today. Most athletic programs and the NCAA Clearinghouse only require athletes to have a 2.5 to get into their program. Not to mention that in high school athletes are only required to maintain a 2.0.

and TO hasn't gotten his act together? He's been "out of trouble" for longer than Moss has at this point.

2.6 GPA?? If I was going to the NFL I wouldn't give a shit about my grades either, that's for sure. And that's not bad at all especially for an athlete.

Ocho Cinco is having fun. He seems to understand that careers in the NFL do not last very long, and owners will shit on players without hesitation if they're no longer valuable to them. He's just trying to make himself a bigger star. I don't blame him at all.

NFL = No Fun League. We need Ocho Cinco!

Well, there's a reason the Bengals SUCK.

Terrelle Owens is always in the news for something. There's been nothing about Randy Moss for a while.

And with that 2.6 GPA in highschool, he had no idea that he was playing in the nfl. Which is beside the point, if you kept it in context you'd know that I was contributing to his childish behavior.

And yes there's nothing wrong with having fun in the nfl. When your team isn't in ruins like the Bengals. They'd be better off to dismantle that whole team and start from scratch.

The Bengals suck because they can't play defense and the team has no discipline whatsoever. That is entirely the coaches and management's fault.

It's also the coaches fault for letting Chads antics go on when their team is staring down another wasteful season.

it doesnt matter because the browns will totally shit on ocho stinko and the bungles...jk well yea they will.

but anyways i love chad johnson, and this is a great marketing move and will get attention for a team that doesnt have much else going for it. i dont understand who could have a problem with a guy whose having fun and bringing a character to a league that doesnt have many. i wish there were more guys like chad, TO, jeremy shockey, etc because they talk shit, say controversial stuff, and then make the game more interesting. the No Fun League is prolly smiling behind closed doors at this.

The fact that you cannot even spell his name should make it obvious that you have no idea what you are talking about. Do me a favor, google "Terrell Owens" and find me a negative story regarding Owens that is even somewhat recent. Good luck.

But enter the words Terrell Owens and controversy into Google's search engine and some 23,000 results pop up in just a fraction of a second. (By comparison, Mac Montandon and controversy will get you only 31 links.) Among the highlights: There's the time Owens plucked a Sharpie out of his sock after a touchdown reception, autographed the ball live on Monday Night Football and handed it to his financial consultant. Seattle Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren told reporters the move was "a dishonor to anyone who ever played this game." Then there's last fall's Playboy magazine interview, in which T.O. suggested none-too-subtly that former teammate Jeff Garcia is gay. (Owens later backpedaled from the comment.) And more recently, there's the ad for ABC's Desperate Housewives, in which a decidedly towel-less Nicollette Sheridan hopped naked into T.O.'s arms, again during Monday Night Football. Viewers were so outraged that Owens was forced to issue an apology for his participation.

not that I care, but one of the first things that came up is a news atricle describing how many hits come up if you type that, lol

......NO it doesn't!! I'm sorry, I chat about two seperate Terrelle's when I talk about sports, Terrelle Pryor and Terrell Owens. Besides, looks like somebody else already called you on that one...The most recent I can think of happened just last season when TO and Romo were in an altercation, because TO said something stupid about his girlfriend.

Secondly, I hate you for the simple fact that you're one of those people who thinks spelling is a measure of people's intelligence. People like you fucking suck. Bitch.

Yeah I read it and I am not bagging on you here, but an article from 2005 does not really have any bearing on the current situation. TO has cleaned up his act as of the past couple years. There have been no real sideline blow ups, not locker room distractions, and no bagging on team mates. He is a happy player in Dallas and we are happy to have his talent at wide out. What there has been is a couple of comments blown out of proportion on the media. He cannot blow his damn nose without someone saying something about it, and he loves it. He is a media whore, but no longer a trouble maker.

......NO it doesn't!!
Ok, fine. I guess I will just have to base my opinion that you don't know what you are talking about on the fact that you cannot present any evidence to back up your claims. Being in the news is one thing, but you cannot even provide me one recent news article about something wrong Terrell Owens actually did.
I'm sorry, I chat about two seperate Terrelle's when I talk about sports, Terrelle Pryor and Terrell Owens.
Honest mistake then I suppose.
Besides, looks like somebody else already called you on that one...
Maybe you should try reading those posts. No one called me on anything.
The most recent I can think of happened just last season when TO and Romo were in an altercation, because TO said something stupid about his girlfriend.
Ok, so the most recent and worse thing you can come up with is an innocent and joking comment that the media blew out of proportion but no one involved actually took seriously? Fail. How about we do a little google search on Randy Moss. Shall we?
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/writers/tim_layden/01/16/randymoss/index.html
And that was last year during the playoffs. I'll take a media whore over a criminal who likes to beat up women and run over police officers any day.
Secondly, I hate you for the simple fact that you're one of those people who thinks spelling is a measure of people's intelligence. People like you fucking suck. Bitch.
Bitch? Now that just hurts. I feel like my keyboard has been bitch slapped. I never said spelling was a measure of intelligence. What I said was that you did not know what you were talking about in this case. But if it gets you that upset I will go ahead and apologize for that below the belt comment. But you should know I am only doing it because I am afraid you may come kick my ass.

That's funny, that's the same argument I use when a Cowboys fan starts talking about how great the Cowboys are, and inevitably references all of their Super Bowl rings.

How else can I put this? Oh yeah, he's been in trouble more recently than you've won a playoff game. How's that?

You can tell TO is trying to give himself this "I've changed" image. Like when he was crying about how "the media were going to attack Tony Romo". Are you fucking kidding me? "That's my quarterback"? Really TO? Wow, had this not been the oppertune time to start changing your images you probably would have called Romo a homo. He looked like a fool up there crying about an event that didn't even take place yet, or at all about how unfair they were going to criticize Romo for not winning. Crying about your quarterback, as opposed to the opposite by calling them out, what a toolbag. You don't go from calling your quarterback a fag and disrespecting another quarterback to fucking crying about how your quarterback is going to get criticized in the papers.

You're one of those people who sits there and picks out spelling mistakes to try and make people look bad. "The simple fact that you cannot even spell his name correctly should prove that you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about." Give me a break, you sound like those nerdy guys from the cell phone commercial. Which would make me Chad, the guy with the cool cell phone service.

And judging from the amount of people here who are pretty much agreeing that TO is a drama queen, I think you lose.

Doesn't matter. Pittsburgh will beat Dallas if we meet up. :ohnoes:

You mean the 3 people that responded? Wow! So are you going to ignore the Randy Moss article that was posted in direct response to your statement that there has been "nothing on Randy Moss in a while" or not. I would guess not because, again, you don't know what you are talking about.
Doesn't matter. Pittsburgh will beat Dallas if we meet up. :ohnoes:
What do you mean "if" genius? We play Pittsburgh on December 7th, so come talk your bullshit on December 8th. By the way, I now understand, based on where you live, why you are so hostile.

x1_nick_1x
09-05-2008, 06:17 PM
Oh, do we? Great then I'll be working security at that game since I see it's at Heinz Field.

And Pittsburgh isn't really known as a hostile city. We have the voted best fans in the country, the voted best team owner in the country, we're almost never in the news for dumb drama shit...we have good things going here in the burgh. What YOU need to be worrying about is Jessica Simpleton being in the stands this year. Clearly your quarterback can't handle that kind of pressure, and then TO gets his panties in a bunch, and then TO and Romeo start arguing...I think with the amount of pressure that's on Dallas this year, they'll choke. ;)
