I watched the original three starwars movies, and well, I wanna use the force and fuck some shit up with my lightsaber, but sadly, I cannot. I wanna get KOTOR, but I don't know which is better, 1 or 2. Or if there are any other games that involve using the force and a lightsaber, suggest them. Also, do the KOTOR games work on vista?

KOTOR is a turn based RPG, if you wanna fuck shit up get Jedi Outcast or something.

Oh and 1 is better.

Two people take turns hitting each other. I guess it's really somewhere between turn based and real time.

It's not the first game to even do it. It is exactly like Neverwinter Nights or even Baldur's Gate, with lightsabers and talents from the Star Wars universe. It's actually based on the SW RPG, which is a spinoff of D&D 3rd edition.

Thank you for telling me this. I wanted a full rps, almost FPS style, but with force and lightsaber. What are some games that have a more "you're a jedi and run around kicking the shit out of shit" games, besides jedi outcast?

KOTOR 1 >>> KOTOR 2.

Both are good, but the fact that they left so much potentially awesome content for KOTOR 2 out ticks me off. And I feel that the story and characters were more solid in the first one, although Kreia is an amazing character.

get the Movie Battles mod for it too

it beats every other more action/fps orientated star wars game ive ever played, Movie Battles was fuckin awesome but i've lost my copy of the game but now you've made me think about getting another just for that mod.

KOTOR II's ending sucked... so bad... Of course, I didn't particularly like KOTOR I's ending all that much.

Both are good games though and I'd play either again.

If you want to "fuck shit up" KOTOR isn't for you. I recommend

The Force Unleashed (but only buy it for PS3 or 360, others are stripped)
