I liked Blue Velvet, but it's definitely not exemplary of his other stuff.

If you're open minded enough to enjoy a good anime film, then two great mindfuck movies are Paprika and Perfect Blue, both of which are from the director Satoshi Kon.

If you want a more philosophical mind fuck then check out Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence.

End of Evangelion. You'd have to watch the series first though (Neon Genesis Evangelion). Biggest mindfuck movie I've ever seen.

Donnie Darko and Fight Club of course had a lot of mind fuckery.

I liked the Butterfly Effect a lot. If you can get past the average-at-best acting, give that one a shot. I can't think of any others right now...

A Scanner Darkly also comes to mind for me. It's pretty much a visual fuck, and you've gotta think a bit to understand what happens.

It's a spanish movie , it's called "El metodo" over here , i really recommend it...i mean REALLY! You will be surprised of how much an spanish movie can make you that surprised...it's one of those movies with twists all around every corner and at the end you gotta think a little to understand the ending and the meanings...it's a great movie , now go watch it ;)

Cube 2 :Hypercube (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0285492/) I liked the sequal better. Its one of those "so horrible you just have to laugh" kinda movies.

a friend suggested this movie to me and i actually have it sitting about 2 feet away from me...but i just cant bring myself to watch it. i think its because i dont like Christian Bale...dunno what it is about him. i just dont like him. he was a pretty bad choice for batman too imo

...also i cant believe this thread is still going


EDIT: holy fuck biscuits i never knew Takashi Miike directed Gozu. i fucking love that guy. Visitor Q is one of my favorite movies
