Holy fucking shit, this is by far the most frustrating thing i've ever done. I've been here for a fucking hour trying to do this.

Does anyone know how to take down the stardestroyer? it wont centre itself.

Lulz, I feel the same way. I've just spent an hour myself with no luck. Sick game, but they made this part pretty fucking hard. Found this info, gonna try it in the morning. Hopefully it helps you out. http://forums.lucasarts.com/thread.jspa?threadID=134785&start=0
Here's mainly what everyone on the lucasarts forum is saying,
"After four hours, I've figured an effective strategy. CHECK THIS OUT: First notice the first time when you start pulling the star destroyer(IMPORTANT!) You want to position the nose IN THE CENTER OF YOUR TWO HANDS. This will make the marker flash GREEN. When this happens the game will prompt you to pull the star destroyer down. Once the tie fighters come, position yourself so you are behind one of the pillers(but not too close) this way the tie fighters can't hit you and you are in position to look to the left and either grab one of them flying to the left or one of the floating engines. Best thing to do is grip one of the tie fighters, force lightning, then throw into next on-coming tie fighter after which a floating engine should be coming by for you to grip quickly.get rid of the tie fighters as quickly as you can so as to get back in position and repeat the process again. REMEMBER: THE KEY IS TO GET THE NOSE IN THE CENTER OF BOTH HANDS BEFORE PULLING DOWN.

Hope this helps. It works for me"

This game was a huge disappointment. Cheap fights, cheap solutions, cheap physics. Thank god I only gamefly'd it.

Oh yeah because knowing you get to destroy a star destroyer must have really ruined the game.

Not even gonna waste my money on this junk anyway.

yeah your right a game that utilizes Ronin, Havok, Digital Molecular Matter, and Euphoria (gta4 physics) in one game defiantly has cheap physics.

I would also consider throwing a bunch of physics engines into one game "cheap physics".

Just do exactly what the buttons on the screen tell you to.
When the colour around those buttons changes to green, hold that position.

You'll then be told to pull down.

My tactic was to do that, and let go when the tie fighters come. Destroy them, and go back to the destroyer. Then let go when the tie fighters come, then go back to the destroyer. etc etc

Only took about three lots of pulling to get it down.
