Man this demo is fuckin' great.
-amazing graphics
-amazing gameplay
-pretty cool story
-crysis-like physics
-cool weapons
-multiplayer
-Terrain deformation (meaning, shoot your infinitized beam thing (cooldowns) at the ground and make your own fucking cover! or make a giant ditch, there are grenades that do special forms too)
-great sound
i think multiplayer will be insane.

Better than I thought it was gonna be, but the gunplay wasn't that special, much like a worse Gears of War.

what? the guns are like a 3rd person halo to me... no-scope wise... meaning, when i'm strafing to the right without scoping in with my sniper rifle and shoot, the bullet hits exactly where my crosshairs are... without losing accuracy.

-the graphics aren't that amazing considering what next gen is capable of but they are decent.
-game play was pretty bland to be honest, theres not really that much challenge with the enemy AI and the enemys are very weak even on the hardest setting. when it comes down to it, its just a generic 3rd person shooter with the ability to modify the terrain ONLY IF ITS DIRT.
-there is no story in the demo, you learn how to shoot and move then the bad guy get away end of demo.
-the physics are not crysis like at all, its just the standard havoc physics engine powering this.
-there is only about 3-4 that i found in the demo, all pretty run of the mill.
-demo has no multiplayer so i cant say for sure how it is.
-terrain deformation is cool yes but its pretty limited as to where you can use it. you can only use it on dirt which makes sense yes i admit that. but when you enter the building the entire floor of a what looks to be a futuristic facility is dirt? seems kinda strange.
-i didnt pay much attention to the sound so i guess nothing really stood out.
all in all i give it a 2.5 out of 5

I thought it was pretty good. The terrain deformation was way cool, but I didn't like the battle mechanics. The graphics were pretty good too, nice crisp and colorful looking as opposed to the dark, dreary setting of many action/shooter games these days.
overall I'd give the demo a 4/5

For a game based around terrain deformation ... it certainly has alot of levels inside ...

I thought the demo was pretty cheesy. The graphics were pretty good, but the whole terrain deformation thing, although kind of cool, is too gimmicky for me. I can see it getting boring pretty quickly

Exactly. Might be fun for a while, but then mediocrity will slap you in the face like an overzealous ostrich.

this game will be good as long as they dont overuse terrain deformation (as in you NEED to use it to get to the next part of the level, and they make you use it that way too many times). If they keep it so its mainly just to use for cover (which is pretty damn awesome/fun to do) then this game will eb good, otherwise it will get old.
Id like to see a ridiculously hard puzzle though that requires terrain deformation/that nade that makes the spike come out of the ground

Seems pretty generic on the shooter side. Gets more entrusting with the ability to terraform during battle. I particular liked the land torpedo type gun. I also like it because the story seems to be in my back yard.
