This is an interesting time in football. Alot of the super powers are falling. Check it out...

West Virginia is unranked.
New England got dumped on in Miami.
Indianapolis is 1-2.
San Diego is 1-2.
Notre Dame is terrible.
Michigan is even worse.

There are more I'm sure, but these teams were all superpowers last year and/or the year before, and they are always on top. But there seems to be a transition happening, should make it exciting to see what happens. Either way, football won't be the same, teams are rising, others are falling.

i wouldnt really say that. sure NE lost to the Dolphins but they dont have brady, the leader of their team. they'll still find a way into the playoffs imo. Rest of the NFL seems pretty standard. All the teams that sucked in the past still suck and the good teams are good or have had a few losses due to key injuries. Thats the way the NFL normally goes IMO

College is pretty much the same too, WV has always been overrated imo. they never really play anyone, what are they in the big east? that shit is so pathetic that playing 1 or two big games a year means shit.

SEC is still strong as fuck and the pac 10 has USC and then a Oregon team that's preforming like it always does.

The ACC is looking a little weak but it always is unless FSU or now Miami has a huge season.

OSU looks mean as fuck like normal and the Big 12 has a few more strong teams like Texas and Missouri who have been building up for the past few years. Also Texas Tech is always in the teens .

in college the only surprise teams i see in the top 25 are Vanderbilt, Utah, Kansas, and BYU. Im expecting most to fall soon though.

I think you're wrong but thats just my view on things

How can you say Big 12 without mentioning future champions Oklahoma?

Colts are little stunning. But the patriots won't go anywhere as long as Brady it out. No surprise. But loosing to Miami that bad...was shocking.

As for San Diego....Norv Turner leading the pack. The guy took over Martys team. He will simply destroy this team over time.

About WVA, they always get a high ranking every year and blow it. So this is nothing new. Their almost as over rated as Notre Dame. ND could be 5-6 and get a BCS bowl bid.

Michigan..go figure....they made a poor move with their new over rated head coach. :bigwink:

I was wondering the same damn thing. And I'm a Husker fan.

The Big 12 should stay strong. Hopefully Nebraska will get back to where it used to be, or close to it.

West Virginia was never a superpower. They were a good team in a shit-ass conference that made them look better than they were. They had a quality program but were never really contenders.

Adressing the Chargers:

First of all, everyone and thier mother knows we should be 2-1 after that denver game, Obvious fumble is obvious, look up Ed Hochuli if your too much of a dipshit to understand me..

2nd, Mcneil was injured for first 2 game=bad running game along with Hardwick injured, but hes coming as well.

Tomlinson, NOT 100%, hes saying hes 75-85% last i checked, give him time.

Matt willhelm, blows dick, sucks..hate him...

Sean Phillips, 5 game suspension, coming back soon, he and chromartie should lead Defense.

We are recovering on Defense and our offense is AMAZING even with LT hurt.

Expect a superbowl..

Obvious Chargers excuses are obvious.

First of all, shit happens to everyone. This time it happened to you.

2nd, every team has injuries. Some teams still win anyways.

Tomlinson doesn't have long to get to 100% (which will never happen), because you can only lose so many times and still make the playoffs.

Matt Wilhelm, I can excuse that. He went to blowhio state..

Sean Phillips, shouldn't have got fucking suspended if he wanted to have a positive impact on the team.

Offense can be great, but defense wins championships.

I'm expecting 7-9, no playoffs for SD.

But, then again, I'm a Broncos fan...

I need my Colts to step it up. I was only kidding when I said I didn't want them to win, now that Brady is out!! (I said it because I live with a die hard Patriot and Brady fan... and know that if the Colts win, I will forever hear, "They only won because Brady was out.")

I just can't believe the Patriots would have a backup, Cassel, that hadn't been a starter since HIGH SCHOOL. Wtf?

Haha, Florida.

Can't believe they lost on a blocked PAT.

Miami dropped too, which is awesome. Not that it has any true effect on much of anything, but I just can't stand any Florida teams.

Eh, didn't Florida just lose today? And USC just lost two days ago. So it happens. Atleast OSU doesn't lose to unranked teams.

Yea yea you're full of shit. Get over it. Ed Hochuli, one of the longest tenured referees in the whole fucking sport, made one mistake and it cost you the game. Hell, Shanahan gave you a chance to end it on the next play and you failed! Don't be passing the buck.

In case you guys didn't know, Seb actually plays for the San Diego Chargers.
