Just name a player from any sport who has yet to reach their prime and the following poster will give his insight on where he sees them in their prime.

1 through 10 rating is fine. 1 being a nothing to 10 being world class or one of the best of the generation.

I'll put one up for a few sports and those sport followers can answer and than post one up of their own just to get it going.

Hockey - Steven Stamkos
Baseball - Evan Longoria
Soccer-Foot - Frazier Campbell
Am Football - Dwayne Bowe

Football-Gareth Bale. Wont get far with spurs though.
Rugby- Lee Byrne. Potential to be the best full back in the game.

Hockey - Red Wings specific - Justin Abdelkader, Ville Leino, Derek Meech, Jamie Tardif, Darren Helm, Mattias Ritola. Meech and Ritola I have not personally seen much of, but people on the hockeyfights boards are impressed. I've seen vids of the others.

6.5/10 (a bit above average)

Has great power in his shots, but he is too predictable at times and in my opinion does not see the field very well to ever be a world class player.

And most of you guys have not understood the thread. Just name a player while another poster rates him, and vice versa.

Remember how everyone thought it was gonna be Vince Young and Matt Leinhart making it in the NFL, and how Freddy Adu was gonna be the next big thing? None of them have impressed, but to make my contribution to this thread, I say Quan Cosby from Texas football (currently ranked #1 in the country).

Right on. Quan Cosby is a man-child. Hell, Shipley could be the next Ed McCaffrey. That boy can flat catch.

i actually think he's peaked, but will Tyler Hansbrough have a roll in the NBA or is he too small for his position and playstyle
