3 surgeries now, a staph infection that might lead to redoing the first surgery. He's got a ton of money, a hot wife, and a legacy. I think he'll just retire

Where did he get his surgery done? Remind me to never go there.

The Patriots, as an organization, are upset with the situation because they were clear that they wanted Brady's surgery done under the direction of doctors of their choosing in Boston, sources told ESPN.

Instead, Brady opted to have the surgery in California by a doctor his family preferred, and now there are major problems. Brady was supposed to be back in New England by now, but a timeline for his return remains unclear.

what's the deal with the third surgery?

He had a second surgery to clean out some infection.

What third surgery?

I believe the third surgery was to clean out more infection which had resurfaced.

No way. Too much money at stake. He's proven that the Patriots are not as good without him.

He stands to possibly have the surgery done again from scratch. Perhaps this time he'll go with the team appointed doctor instead of the moron who put zombie tendons in his knee.

I'm sure he'll be back, but if he does I'm not sure he'll be as good as he once was.. That knee will never be back to normal again and I doubt Brady will be either.. not saying he's going to be bad but he just won't be the same calibur player he was.

You forgot that most of these guys love the game, and to compete, so no he will DEFINETLY not retire.

I don't see him going out quietly. He's Tom Brady and he won't go out after losing a Super Bowl and then having knee surgery. Next season, if Brady is healthy, may very well be last chance they have to make the Playoffs and possibly win the Super Bowl, but only if Dallas doesn't repeat the season after this.

Wait, your saying the Cowboys are winning the superbowl this year? They aren't going to even make the playoffs, they are just that average.

We'll see about that, now won't we...

On another note, why the hell is Brad Johnson starting today?

Haha I guess the doctor is a 49ers fan.
