Far cry2/F3/COD4 [Archive] - eBaum's World Forum

Well I'm going to best buy tomorrow to get a graphics card and another stick of ram and a new game. Either FC2 F3 or COD4. I've played COD4 and to my likings its a good game I can replay especially with the MP. I've played the fallout series and liked them too. I owned FC1 and it kinda sucked.

So which game should I get and does FC2 and F3 have MP? If so how is the MP? And does FC2 have that stupid monster shit like it did in the first series?

As much as I'd like you to buy Fallout 3 you should just *obtain* it on the internets. Buy Call of Duty 4 for the multiplayer or wait for COD 5 to come out and buy Fallout 3 now. Disregard FC2.

FarCry 2 doesn't play anything like the first one. There's some parallels of course, but two completely different games.

It is similiar, but what do you expect when they both have the same engines. Other than that Fallout 3 is definately not Oblivion with guns. Infact I am enjoying Fallout 3 vanilla more than i did Oblivion vanilla, I can only play Oblivion with OOO and/or MMM mod. I'm quite sure Bethesda will also release a construction set for Fallout 3 soon aswell, which is going to open an immense amount of doors for modders and players, people still play Morrowind and Oblivion extensively because of construction sets.
