just copped it, its a really good, atmospheric game.
played 3 hours straight, very immersive, and good voice acting.
Fantastic graphics too.

Fallout 3 isn't a FPS at it's heart. If you run and gun in Fallout 3 you'll eventually be dead and/or out of ammo very quickly it's more of a strategy RPG FPS or something like that. The play mechanics were made that way so it didn't become a run and gun fest.

The replay value seems great, and thats good for a game that took me 9 hours to complete.

I'm impressed with everyone who can go through those games multiple times. I rarely go through a horror survival game more than once. I feel like I already know all the big scares and surprises. I think the Resident Evil 2 is one of the only horror games I actually went through more than once because it was different when you played a 2nd time as a different character.

Concerning the comments about the combat system. I generally find that horror games like Resident Evil, Dead Space, and Silent Hill purposely have somewhat awkward combat systems. If the combat system was like Half-Life or Quake it would be much easier to shoot and avoid enemies.

The weapons are uninteresting and the only thing that kept me going was the idea of "people like it, I'll play till it gets good" but it never did. After a few hours I gave up and uninstalled it.

Fuck this, I'm trying to get the "Don't get Cocky Kid" trophy by keeping my hull integrity above 50% against the asteroids, and so far I think it's borderline impossible. I manage to have 79% left when he says just one more minute, then the shit hits the fucking fan. I think I've tried about 5 or 6 times now and I need a break. How many times did it take you guys till you managed to get it?
