music in flash movies

This may be a dumb question but i cant get it to work. I think im using flash 6. I am not sure. Anyways. I want to make a flash movie. Thank i know how to do. But how to import songs into it i dont.

What file format should the song be in if i want to put it in my movie?

After I import it, where do i find it.?

In the library panel with everything else :rolleyes: ....any format.

i already imported it as a mp3 and its not in my common libraries

no no no, not common libraries, your library panel.

the kids right on your work space press f11 and that wil bring up your library, or failing that, just click on the frame that you want the sound to start on and look down the bottom of the screen with the properties, click the sound drop menu and the rest is easy!
