its in production now,will air summer of 09,i thought the series started a little off but after a couple episodes i got into it,theres alot going on in it,telepaths,demons,shapeshifters,the vampire league and the mention of werewolves coming into it and the unknown elements like the lady who was naked with the giant pig who doesnt like the bar owner shifter, this series is goin places the season finale was real good
cant wait for season 2
i think her brother is gonna end up a vampire hunter also

Sookie and her brother are fairies and he's but he's going to be some kind of other creature not a vampire. And that woman is called a Manaed or something like that

Wait....Sookie and her brother are Fairies???? thats news to me but its pretty cool. This series is so ridiculous but very addicting to watch. Sucks that my fav. character is dead and turned out to be the bad guy although I kind of saw it seeing as how he was the only person in Louisiana with a cajun accent.

Still cannot wait for season 2.

I laughed my ass off when Sam told suki about his powers.

"What, so your like a werewolf"
"No, those things are dirty and nasty"
"WTF? Werewolves are real too????"

I read this first as fairies as in "gay". How would a fairy relate to this show?

Ok, I guess that would explain it. Also I think the chick that is with Tara is a Werewolf and the pig she was with is actually her butler which is a shapeshifter. Do not know about the other black guy though.
