The first Rainbow Six was my first online FPS. I played that a helluva lot. Lately I've just been playing some CoD4, though I don't think it's particularly amazing. Otherwise I might jump on Red Orchestra.

6:20PM- Found a server that isn't karkand infantry 24/7, deserted, full, laggy

6:30PM- Game is done loading. I'm in the match, I join a squad and spawn into the game

6:31PM- Killed by friendly artillery. Squad leader is gone, have to spawn at my base

6:32PM- Spawn killed

6:33PM- Spawn at another base, this one has vehicles. I jump into the tank and a jet blows me up.

6:35PM- My squad commander made it out alive, I spawn at him and he's at the enemy base. I see someone and shoot him. All hits should have registered as white puffs of smoke came out of him, out of the 15 shots that should have hit him only 4 registered. He turns around and kills me in one shot.

6:40PM- Get kicked by admin because attacking an uncap is against the rules.

Actually, I never played Doom. Stunning I know, but I was off in Army land full time. One of my regrets, but now I dont want to play it.

I've been playing Doom since I was about three, possibly four (at the time, my dad only had the shareware version, but the first episode was the best anyway).

Haven't got much better since.

edit: Holy crap, I open my desk drawer, and what do I find? Doom 2 install disks. Five of them. Can't remember how many there actually were, but I remember the installation failing occasionally on the very last disk.

It came with a good level editor, too, although I could not actually create any decent levels.

QFT! Serious Sam had good graphics, nice effects, and a shitload of enemies on screen at the same time. Yet, it ran silk smooth on my fucking intel 64MB integrated chip.
