Just looking for some feedback on this, it's the first time I'll be building a computer.

My price range is about $850, so if anyone knows for a better deal I could grab, or if I have some things that are incompatible, please let me know.

That's not that great for $835 in my opinion. I think you should spend a little more on a larger HD. It just seems kind of expensive for what it is.

If I can find a cheaper hard drive I'll go with that, but honestly I don't really even need more than 160GB.

k. The video card kinda sucks so you can upgrade that and also, I just did a combo drive.
I gave it a Q6600 because that's what I have and it rules. You could save a little more if you went with the one you originally had, though.

I think $800 for a non dual card option is pretty expensive. I would at least get a sli/xfire board in case the chance of you running dual in the future. Also 8 gigs of ram is a bit to much unless that something that interests you. The card is fine, but for the same price you can get a better PSU like the corsair tx750 which, if i remember correctly, has less ripple on the 12v's than the ocz's by quite a bit. You also did not include any type of aftermarket cpu cooler or thermal paste. Which if you are going to do any simple overclocking a good cpu cooler looks great and helps a ton.
