View Full Version : Good game to play online?

I'm gotten rather bored of my current games, which are:

EndWar
Halo 3
CoD4

I also have some offline games, such as Fallout 3 and Oblivion (I beat Fable 2 and returned it, very disappointing game).

I am a fan of shooters/war games, so does anyone have any suggestions for a good online multiplayer for the 360? I'm thinking World at War, but am open to suggestions.

WaW is pretty much CoD4, gears of war 2 is pretty fun if you aren't an angry sole, you'll get cheated out of a lot of kills but if you learn to work around it you'll hear a lot of bitching about how your host.

If you are bored of COD4 don't buy WaW. WaW online is 95% identical to COD4 except the weapons are older and vehicles are thrown in. I suggest GoW2

Left 4 Dead is supposed to pretty kickass online. I say go for that.

you should get GoW2......if you like slamming your contoller into the wall with frustration.

Gow2 is the most frustrating game iv ever played.

Yeah I don't really get the following that GoW has. I have both games and enjoyed the campaigns, but I hate the multiplayer. The most common kill is with a fucking chainsaw and that is lame. Horde is pretty fun though. But not as fun as nazi zombies. I'm thinking L4D is my next game.

Chainsaw is definitely not the most common kill. I'm not a huge GOW fan either, but that accusation is was out there. Unless you don't count crippling someone with a machine gun as a kill because you have to finish them off in melee, which is a dumb way to look at it.

Yeah, Left 4 Dead from me too. I haven't played it on the 360 but it's a great game on pc. There's nothing that came out recently that can hold a candle to it imo.
