Anybody else get this for christmas? I bought it for myself just because I thought it would be awesome to play the drums. I like it so far. EXCEPT FOR THE SHITTY SONGLIST.

Love the drums though.

I got it and I like it. I think the song select screen is awful tho. It looks like complete shit and gives me a head ache.

Bored as hell of that game... GH3 is much better.

Rock Band 2 destroys it. GH3 destroys it. Etc.

The first World Tour I got (5 days ago) had a faulty guitar (the strum bar wouldn't click properly, mother fuckers) and after an exhausting hassle with Circuit City to exchange it I got a new one. The next day I returned it for store credit and got Rock Band 2 drums instead; there was just so much wrong with the game itself. In every way/shape/form it was inferior to Rock Band 2, and after hours of trying to fool myself otherwise, I went all Bill O 'Reilly and said FUCK IT.

FUCKING THING SUCKS.

With the current song list I wouldn't be surprised if they did a whole spice girls album and released it for dlc. They put too many shitty songs on this game by bands no one has ever even heard of. Most of them are pussy rock songs too, no challenge, no catchy tune, nothing.

*sniffle*

I got bored of GH3 so I traded it in and payed the rest of the moneyz for GH2.. and I got bored of GH2 10 times faster than I did with GH3 and now I want GH3 back more than anything.

I wish I had never traded it. :wah:

Seems like a pretty good setlist to me.

I've heard the game has some lag issues, though; Like it 'll hiccup during the game, and play over top of itself for a second when it resumes. That, and the cymbals are only sensitive in the center of them, which screws a lot of people up. If they could correct those, i'd definitely want to give it a try.

That, and the expert mode in GH:WT looks more difficult than the expert mode in Rock Band.

You highlighted Linking Park, this is an example where our tastes in music differ.

I've only played guitar hero 2 and 3.. but I remember once playing rock band in a store.. the "hard" songs were too easy and the "expert" songs were too hard. There was no in between [I'm a "hard" mode kinda girl. nothing higher, nothing lower] it just seemed way less evened out than guitar hero. But I dunno, maybe I was just trying the wrong songs.

Edit: That god damn song on GH2 right before Freebird [on hard].. tried that fucker like 15 times over the last couple of weeks until I finally decided to play it with the sound off [has helped me get a higher score on TTFAF] and whaddya know? I beat it.

Weird how that works. You'd think no sound would throw me off or something?

I thought the music selection to download from people would be better. And I'm waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to impatient to make a song.

I suck at it. I can consistently get 95% or higher on Medium, but when I play Hard I fail out almost every time.

I used to think hard on GH3 was...hard. I'd barely get 90% on Paint it Black. But now, I've only messed up on Assassin since I can't get the intro. Everything else is easy...
