If they would just make madden 05 with updated rosters for 360 then they would have the perfect madden game.

Madden 05 had the perfect control scheme, but I don't think they introduced the truck stick until 06. I really liked that.

Edit: I never play the franchise mode, and I'm not sure if THAT'S why you like it or not, but I loved it for the controls.
I haven't bought 09 yet, but R2 for sprint in 08 sucks. I'm too used to the X/Square sprinting.

I loved 05 because it was the last game before that passing cone shit happened.

06 was almost unplayable imo

and 05 had a shitload of people playing it online and then all of a sudden they shut the online support down :( i dont think ive even bothered finishing a game since the 05 online days
