It doesn't matter what system the game is from. Feel free to tell which game you've beaten the most.

Super Mario Bros. I was going for the speed run record. I got to about 7 or 8 minutes before I sold it. I've probably beaten it well over 100 times.

Otherwise, I'd have Metal Gear Solid Substance/Sons of Liberty. I was also going for a speed record with that. Never came close, but it gave me multiple playthroughs.

All of my gameboy/gameboy advance/Nintendo DS games have been beat more times than I can remember. GTA 3, MGS3, GTA: VC, GTA: SA. Splinter Cell 1, 2, 3, and 4. Hitman: Contracts, Hitman: Blood Money.

MGS3: Snake Eater/Subsistence. Unlockable items + fun factor = High replayability.
Final Fantasy VII - Every summer I find myself playing all the way through this game 10 times. I fucking love video game summers.
Final Fantasy X
Legend of Zelda DX - Link's Awakening
Super Mario 64
Pokemon R/B/Y - I beat the Elite Four thousands of times. THAT COUNTS AS BEATING THE GAME RITE LUL!
Super Smash Bros. 64

Probably Resident Evil 2 on the N64 and Gamecube. Back when all I had was a 64 I would play that game back to back everyday. I'd do Leon A/Claire B and vice versa. I still can play it like that to. REmake would be a close second

Final Fantasy X. I have like 250ish hours racked up from just the first year of playing it. Got all my characters to have 255 stat with everything.

Deus Ex. I've done it so many times, I can do the entire game on realistic with nearly no human casualties (except for the parts where you're forced to kill people).

You know what, now that I think about it, I've probably put in literally 50,000 hours on Smash Bros Melee. I've restarted my save over 10 times, each time putting in 5000 hours each save.

If that's true, that means you spent the equivalent of 2,083 days playing Melee, or 5.7 years.
Not buying it...

I literally played it with friends at least 3 hours a day for 7 years since its release. I don't care if you're not buying it. It's my favorite fighting game ever. And that will never change. Weed was a highly contributing factor to it too.

Edit: Put it this way. Take the typical logged hours on games like WoW or Final Fantasy XI from the hardcore players. That's me...with Melee. lol Only melee has been around since 2001.

Arcanum I think is my most beaten game. I didn't beat Morrowind a lot, but I probably started about 10 billion characters and got to various stages with each of them. About the same with Oblivion, though with less characters, I didn't get as into it as Morrowind.
Other than that... maybe Age of Empires II, I played that so much when I was younger. Also the total war games, Shogun I think I beat the most times (just because it is the shortest), Medieval One I think I played the most though in terms of hours. Rome and M2 less so, but I still played them a fair deal.

In Mario 3 the most lives you can get is 99. Once you have 99 lives you can't get to 100. It stays at 99. Fuck whistles. Whistles are for baby's. World 7 rocks.

Dead space looked good and was pretty fun the one time through.
but there is very little replay, the enemies get very easy whereas in RE4 you were fighting till the end, in Dead space as long as you stock up on ammo there isn't much pressure.

I'd say rent cause it's just not worth playing more than once.

Chrono Cross, mainly because when you beat the game you can play again but with a really high level. Also its a great game too.

Wow, We got some serious gaming going on up in here.

The only time i've stooped down so low is on Halo 3, which i used to play for give or take an hour, 6 hours a day.

I know that's not even considered too bad on here cuz i've heard and even seen a few horror stories....

That entire game can be beaten in under 3 hours, so one sitting isn't alot. Lol

I beat the tank chapter in 20 minutes and plant in 2:30.

Yes RE 1-3 was the best. Its a shame probably the majority of people who love Resident Evil today have only played the 4th one. RE 2 is definitely the best RE game imo, and might even be one of the best games around. Again imo.
