As you all know we are thick into the transition over here so we don't have an official time line yet, though there is not a chance that we are backing out on this.

I worked up over a million points and FINALLY cashed in a erep prize 3 months ago. It took me forever and I was so excited. I came here after being gone for a few weeks due to family emergency and I find that everything is up in the air and some are saying that people probably won't be getting their prizes.

Even if there's only a handful of people running Ebaumsworld.com there needs to be a more significant and professional face representing the site. As far as I have seen MacDreidle has only made smart-ass comments to questions and somebody who is apparently "knows nothing of computer".

eReps do need to be honored and I've suspected that very early on admin have been deleting superuser accounts (ie. Axp) in hopes of not having to dole out earned prizes.

Bullshit..I have earned over a million points and have not been deleted. If anything, the new management has been more professional than the old crew and has responded quickly to user concerns.

You will also note that many of the big users that got angry and left have started to come back.

I do know some users did leave as they were told this whole place was coming down so get out. I haven't been deleted and I am a high user as well.

And as mike stated they HAVE responded quicker to user concerns. I never even got confirmation that they got my e-mail before and never a reply to it. And I cashed in my prize 3 months ago and the old staff never sent it out. So... so far, the new crew has done well.

I even got a message in my private messages on the main page from Ebaum (new one) again about my prize.

One thing the new staff needs to get straight on in a hurry is giving original poster the feature, not these newbie jackasses that uploaded it ten days after everyone else. There's been at least a dozen features I've uploaded up to 10 months before.

The new staff needs to win back a lot of the good posters, it sounds like they're getting their shit straight on erep prizes, but OP features are just as important.:preachon:

If you actually knew what you were talking about then you would know that almost all of the front page content is from user uploads. We contribute a huge portion of content to keep people coming back to the site, and the incentive to upload was because of eReps. eReps = good.

Yep, it had my claim code which I went and redeemed into my Amazon account today, I'm all ready to go. :D They sent me a really kind note along with it.

I do appreciate that they kept in contact with me through this process of waiting. Every single time I wrote, I got a reply. They never left me hanging. Which is a big comparison to the past. I never got a reply to any e-mails I wrote to Ebaums before the change. I didn't get my prize from them either.

I am VERY glad I didn't decide to delete my account and leave like people were telling me to do. I would have thrown away my prize and all the hard work to give it all to another site and get nothing from it.

That is not true. I think what happened was that when some Amazon cards were sent out, they were sent out electronically, and in the Prizes section the emails aren't listed. Out of convenience a few email addresses were requested.

Tell me about it, especially since they have untainted records since it was an immediate takeover without time for disgruntled employees to fudge anything up. It's clear cut. Those who claimed prizes before the takeover need to be sent their prizes, and in a timely manner.

So far I'm not going to associate the word "thruth" with anyone affiliated with Zvue. There are dozens, perhaps hundreds of people that have claimed prizes that are not receiving even so much as a reacharound. If you're not going to honor erep prizes just tell us.

I still haven't received my prize, or even a reach around either...Personally, I feel our prize orders should be doubled and sent out immediately...Today. Since we have waited patiently so long. Whatever happened to customer service? Is it not important to attempt to keep people happy any more? By the serious increase in adds, we all know this website is BANKING $$$. So dishing out a small percentage of that to keep people coming back shouldn't be a big deal. Now the admin is probably reading this thinking "fools, you keep coming back regardless!" There will be a time soon where everyone will be so fed up, we will not visit ebaumsworld.com any more. Leading of course to no one advertising on this site, in turn no money at all for the corporate entity that recently took over which will ultimately = domain ebaumsworld.com for sale.

I think a lot of people would be satisfied if the staff would somehow post who is getting their stuff. I don't think people care if it is in order (who ordered first) anymore, people just want some clarification that some prizes have gone out.

WOO HOOO! I just recieved confirmation that the garmin GPS I order in November was just shipped and should arrive on Tuesday. I owe huge debt of thanks to Pepper for this. This guy is really sincere and is working for us. He even went as far as making sure I got a newer model as the one I ordered was ancient.

I should clarify. I did not get an newer GPS simply because the original was an old model. Apparently, Garmin does not allow the GPS model ebaums stocked to be shipped to canada. So I was offered a different model which was much newer. It's not exactly the same, slightly less features, but that's fine by me and I appreciate what Peanut did for me.

Emailed them and PMed admin multiple times over the last few months, with no responses. Not sure why its unreasonable to expect a promised prize or at least an update when it's been almost 6 months since I ordered it. I never had these issues in the past, things were slow but not this slow. And I'm not sure how posting here is humiliating. Its a lot more likely that you're just a douche.

Many of us have tried emailing every address listed on the main site, I don't know of anyone that has gotten a response. I'm going to send out yet another mass email to all of the ebaums/zvue email addresses I have because I have nearly $1,000 worth of prizes out, prizes that are over a year old.

The erep prizes aren't a privilege, they are a contractual incentive for people to provide content. I spent a lot of time uploading and organizing content, relying on the promise that I would be rewarded. I had no other motivation.

I've claimed prizes in the past as well, and they took a long time to ship. But I did get responses and updates from admin while I was waiting, and I received the prizes within 3 or 4 months.

The erep rules page disclaims that prizes can take up to 8 weeks for processing. That is their stated term, not mine. Considering that almost 6 months has passed, it is reasonable to expect at least an update when that term hasn't been met.

And I don't know anything about the financial situation of ebaums, but if they can't afford the prizes, the system shouldn't have existed in the first place. Don't promise prizes for uploading content if you don't have prizes to give.
