View Full Version : ADS are rediculous on this website. OVer the videos. Are you fucking serious?

THE ADS ON EBAUMSWORLD ARE GETTING REDICULOUS. Blocking videos, slowing down the computer. Accidental clicks bringing you to bullshit websites. I have already had my virus scan turn warnings on this website about 6 months ago.

IT is really becoming a chore to view this website. You can put whatever ads you want around the videos.

LEAVE THE FUCKING VIDEOS ALONE!

IT is rediculous that I have to press the X on an add blocking 20% of the video, just to have another ad pop up every 30 seconds in a video.

What's next, your going to make us sit through 30 second advertisements FOR ALL VIDEOS.

I do not support your advertisers and can live without ebaumsworld.

You guys are up there with porn sites. At least they don't fuck with the videos. I don't mind a stupid advertisement popping up in the bottom right corner about some fake girl too pretty to fuck my fat ass saying she wants to fuck me. That I can handle. The advertisements on ebaumsworld I cannot handle. I want to yell in babies faces and slap grandmothers it makes me so mad.

people need to stop stressing so badly over the internet.. its just the internet.. its not real life. kaii? if it's giving you problems, GTFO and go smell the flowers, theres no ads in your backyard!

The ads on this website have gotten ridiculous! You can't even view pictures or anything without that stupid fucking Prowler ad copying itself until it covers the whole fucking page! I was viewing a gallery of pics and i couldn't even skip to the last fucking picture with the ad overcoming the thing!

If ebaums doesn't fix this stupid fucking problem...i'm going someplace else for media!

This bullshit fucking ridiculous! I know they have to pay the bills, but use a fucking ad that doesn't take over your whole fucking site!!!

I'm gonna have to agree with the OP. I'm so sick of adds on the videos. I mean come on, I'm not interested in the ads to the left. I'm not interested in the ads to the right. I'm not interested in the ad's altogether even though they are flashy and annoying as hell at least I can kind of ignore them. But now, most of all videos from you-tube have ads on them. Not only do they take up a 1/3 of the screen they come with a super small close X button and god forbid you make the mistake of clicking off of it you wind up going to the website filled with shit I'm not interested in buying. I come to you-tube to watch videos, not fucking shop around. When I want or need to buy something I buy it in a fucking store. Shit, the internet is the reason I don't watch TV, it had no ads. But now it's even worst then TV. Fuck the internets.

This always confuses me. I use FireFox and/or Opera with absolutely no add-ons and yet I don't think I've ever even gotten one single ad/pop-up. Wonder why that is.

The website has to have ads, or are they running the site just to entertain you?

I don't have any problems with the ads, I even click on one now and then.

I would love for you to explain to me how the Internet is not "real life".

But seriously, the ads are way out of hand. I can't even navigate the main page anymore because it is so fucked up. Every time I scroll down the page the ads get stuck or something and drag themselves down the page when I scroll down.

This happens on every single page that is linked to the main page. The homepage of Ebaum's World is absolute garbage thanks to you guys. There haven't been any improvements at all, and I think most of us are getting pretty tired of your bullshit.


Edit: Oh yeah, on top of that I had maxed-out my rep points before they took them away, now I'm stuck with nothing? What the fuck is up with that? How do I get my points back?

Edit 2: Jesus fuck! Another problem! Now every time I log onto the website I am asked if I would like the Password Manager to change my stored password! Every single time! This website is fucking worthless! Fucking fix SOMETHING!!!
