Cant change avatar, gets an error

Error uploading media file: Error #2038 (-220)

i keep getting it everytime i try to upload an avatar. doesnt matter if firewall is on or off... i just keep gettin it

Is this on the front page? If so, what photo type is it? For some reason our file extension is case sensitive. Try making your file extension all lower case. That worked for me.

No its not on front page, and im talking about ebaums world website, not this forum. The edit profile section -> upload avatar. The file is not case sensitive (all lowercase) and i have it in .gif , .png, .jpg. tried them all, still an error.

no it did not.


so no one can help me out? The file isnt the problem. Size isnt the problem. Name etc. is not the problem. What else is there left.

I got this same error message trying to upload a video.

I did. I used both Firefox and IE. Firefox gave me the error message posted by the OP. IE just did nothing. At all.
