I have come up with a plan to stop the spammers who advertise for shoes, cameras or post thumbnail photos that leads to their website.


Add the name of their site to the BLOCKED words list. So they won't be able to create 50 more accounts and advertise for their site because no matter what they do their links will comeout as ******* :dbagsmile: :lmao: :dbagsmile:



Here is one guy who has created over 5 accounts to post thumbnails to his site:

Please add the word "********" to the forum's censored words list and we can get rid of him once and for all.


Same with the shoe sellers and others. Tell the mods to save you the name of their website before deleting the spam posts. They can pm you the name of the site and you can add the name of their website to the censored words list.

Good idea, except that spammers spam like mad for a few hours then leave once they've posted in every forum.

ie once they post they're not coming back, so all it really achieves is censoring what they already posted, which is less effective than the current solution which is to delete their posts entirely.

You seem not to be understanding anything that I said!


The shoe spammers that have created over 20 accounts in the last 2 weeks are the same people with the same website.

Next time when they try to post and see that their links don't show up on the page, they will leave and never return because there is no point to it!!!

Yes but once they see that their link can not be posted on this site they won't make a second account and a third account and so on.

All those people we banned were advertising for the same 2 sites over and over.

I'm not too sure that they proof read their spam. It's either bots, or people who post and fly.
