Ok so I downloaded a program today, and it worked. Then earlier this evening I restarted my computer and every time i try to log in to my name it automatically logs me out, like i cant even do anything. Any ideas on what the problem could be and what I could do? I obviously have access to a computer, seeing as Im using my laptop to write this, but my PC has very important files that i will need soon. Hook a brotha up.

it will give you the choices between a destructive restore and non destructive restore
destructive will return your comp to the way it was out of the box
non destructive will save loaded programs but you will lose all files you have either way. I know this happened to my comp once and i was forced to do a destrutive restore which is why i back up everything immediately now

Yeah go into safe mode I can't remember how but I think its like press f11 repeatedly then try to run whatever anti-virius programs you have...if you don't have one theres free ones on the net but I don't remember the site

If not this is what you do:
1. Push every possiable button you can find
2. Cuss at it
3. Cuss at it some more
4. kick it
5. then screw it just put a bullet in it :)

just go to yahoo.com and in the search bar type in the programs name followed by virus or try typing in "list of kazaa(or w/e u have) viruses"

example:tony hawk pro skater 3 virus

if u need screen shots of what to do ill make um but this is pretty esay to know how to do.

lol yeah restart your computer in safe mode. Some computers it's f4, but others it is f5. Press whichever one to start it in safe mode. As long as you can get there you should be able to back up your files that you need. If not there are xp boot disks out there in which you could run your command(dos) prompt and have access to your files. BTW... dont ever download shit off p2p w/o Norton Antivirus, or some type of antivirus, as you have learned. If that doesn't work you probably will have to reformat your hard drive. oh and searching for the virus most likely isn't going to wok unless you know the name of the virus. My best guess would be to
-Boot your computer up normally
-Ctrl+Alt+Del and make a list of all the programs that have loaded on your startup(the virus will not show up in your safe mode)
-Jot down all the names of the programs currently running and then search for the virus
