Utada

Utada (who some may know as "Hikki" or Hikaru) is a very popular artist in Japan, and she is making her American debut. I love her and her music to pieces, but I've heard her first single from her new album, and I'm worried it may not do so well. Since there are things you can get away with in Japan but not here, her lyrics are a little weird. Let me give you a very good example:

"You're Easy breezy and I'm Japanese-y"

Translation: You're easy breezy and this song is cheesy.

I just thought it was funny...how different our music works from other countries, lyrics wise. :D
