Difference is, with an assault rifle, there would be 30 DEAD children, instead of just 30 "slashed" (whatever the fuck that means).

Not saying some crazy shit like that would happen in America, or that I am against Americans having guns (I really don't care) but I think for right now, it is safe to keep automatic weapons (or any gun for that matter) out of the hands of the Chinese...

So it may make sense to limit the destruction that a "whack Job" can make by limiting the tools they may be able to use.

I too have children I think I know what you may feel, one of the last jobs I did for Search and Rescue was a retrieval of a body of a child the same age as mine.

The hard part was not the work, you train for it and there are some really good people that I got to work with but it was on the way back to Base Camp walking past the parents that had no idea what we just found and were waiting for word, they still had hope they would find the little guy alive. It was the toughest thing I ever did. There is something about children and being a parent.

the kids in iraq are probably the most hurt and squalid in the whole world at the moment and i truly feel sorry that they have been brought into a region full of religious bigots, rather than decent fathers.
