yer uhhh, there was like nothing funny with this video....Jack Mehoffer is absoloutly nothing like 'Jack Me Off'. Really it was pathetic, but thats my point of view, what did every1 else think of it?

OMG, ROFL, LMAO, i thought it was the funniest thing ever.....anyone who has seen Bill O'Reillys show can appreciate that! Besides, it wouldve prolly never made the air had they just used Jack Mehoff....

In Springfield/Boston area..There aint no Mehoffers....And besides Jack is a nickname for John.....Bill O"Reilly was dupped fair and square. Thats was a really good!!! That guy was a Great!! Oh BTW Their are some folks with pretty bad names....Dick Trickle(nascar driver) I had a co worker....Last name Cummings first name Dick....Check out how many Mike Hunts there are!

I happen to have heard some inside information that the email actually was a prank sent in by eBaumsworld.com on a whim that it would ever get through to TV. Just what I heard though.....

Well think about it...what could Bill possibly have said if it was a prank. He's not going to say something about it because there is a possiblity it was a real name. He's not going to look through the damn phone book and see if it's real. Besides, it's not like the e-mail said "YOU SUCK YOU GOT PRANKED LOL".

Jeez, it wasn't that funny at all.

Yeah, he did it a lot in the earlier seasons, but it was hard for the writers to come up with them. They had to think of the funny name, then they had to think of what Moe would say afterword. It's appeared occasionally in the later episodes, maybe once or twice.

That is obviously a prank. If you look up "mehoffer" as a last name on phone directories, you dont find any listings. Even if it were a real name, a few things don't add up. Someone is going to have to be recording it (for some reason or another) and at the same time realize that is a funny name and than eventually put it on the internet and have it spread around like wild fires. The person who did it, set it up perfectly. The bait was pretty good. They knew Bill O'reilly would jump on that email for being against his show and he would do put it on his show just to prove Mister Mehoffer wrong. Bill bit the bait and the prankster, recorded it and had a pretty good idea it was going to bitten. With all that being said, I didn't start to laugh on the floor at this prank, but its good to see someone fooled like this, especially Bill O'reilly.

Someone mentioned the ESPN prank, that was done very well. Although the punch line was very weak "do you like howard stern's butt cheeks?" They could have exaggerated the story a lot more, before they blew the cover too soon. The caller made it so realistic and buyable and than just kills it with the punch line, he should have made the story more outrageous slow by slow and people would have been like, wtf? this has got to be a prank or something? That would have been alot funnier.
